Liquid Nitrogen

Liquid nitrogen is nitrogen in its liquid state. It is a colorless and odorless cryogenic liquid with a boiling temperature of approximately −196°C.
For transportation and storage, Dewar vessels (similar to thermos flasks) are used. They significantly reduce heat transfer from the environment and minimize evaporation losses. If liquid nitrogen is poured into a regular glass, it will typically evaporate within about 5 minutes, which is unacceptable for most applications. Therefore, the use of specialized equipment is essential.

Our Equipment Range

Dewar Vessels
  • Available for sale and rental.
  • Rental fleet capacities: 4 L, 10 L (most popular size), and 25 L.
  • Larger vessels are also available for specialized applications.
  • Transportation must always be carried out in an upright position, as the stopper is not hermetically sealed and allows evaporated nitrogen to escape safely.
  • Replacement stoppers are available for customers who already own Dewar vessels.
Dewar Vessel Trolleys
  • Designed for easy movement on smooth indoor floors.
  • Adjustable to fit different Dewar vessel sizes.
Liquid Nitrogen Dispensing Systems
  • Equipment for tilting and gravity-based liquid withdrawal.
  • Pressurized dispensing systems that allow liquid nitrogen to be dispensed similarly to water from a tap.
  • A special phase-separation filter is installed at the outlet to prevent splashing caused by pressure buildup.
Cryogenic Gloves
  • Designed for safe handling of liquid nitrogen and other cryogenic media.
  • Available in short and long versions.
  • The use of specialized cryogenic gloves significantly improves operator safety.
Safety Goggles
  • Protect the eyes from accidental splashes of liquid nitrogen and potential contact with sensitive eye tissues.
Vacuum Hoses and Filling Accessories
  • Vacuum-insulated hoses and various filling nozzles for transferring liquid nitrogen into different types of equipment.

LIN JET

Liquid nitrogen is widely used in the food and beverage industry to create inert atmospheres and improve packaging performance.
Key applications of LINjet technology include:
  • Creating an inert atmosphere inside food packaging, such as vegetable oil containers, helping protect products from oxidation and extend shelf life.
  • Generating internal pressure in PET bottles containing non-carbonated beverages. After dosing, the liquid nitrogen vaporizes and increases the pressure inside the bottle.
  • Improving package strength during storage and transportation.
  • Enhancing pallet stability during warehousing and logistics operations, reducing the risk of bottle deformation and load instability.
